A Stripe downgrade takes effect at the end of the paid period. An App Store upgrade takes effect immediately and Apple determines a prorated refund for the unused portion of the former paid period; a downgrade takes effect at the end of that period. When Google Play plan changes are offered in the app, an upgrade charges the full price of one month of the new plan and takes effect immediately; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the current paid period. For store subscriptions, the provider’s confirmed charge, refund or treatment of remaining time, and effective date are authoritative. |
