Choose how you want to share a work
You can now choose between Public sharing for a wider audience and Unlisted sharing for people who have the link. If an unlisted link needs to be replaced, generating a new one makes the previous link unavailable.
You can add an author name and description to the reading page. The publication settings also provide URL copying and sharing to X, with system sharing on supported devices.
Keep ongoing edits separate from the published version
Publishing keeps the manuscript from that moment as the version readers see. You can continue writing and revising privately, then use Update published content when the next version is ready.
Stopping publication makes the work unavailable at its previous public or unlisted URL.
A reading page designed for novels
Readers can move between chapters from the table of contents and choose a font size, line spacing, and color theme. Reading progress is retained on the same device, making it easier to continue later.
The work title and description are also reflected in link previews, and public and unlisted pages use different search-engine indexing rules.
