Read-aloud tracking and screen readability are improved

You can follow the current manuscript position, use more accurate playback speeds, and choose the app-wide text size.

Follow the current position in your manuscript

When the manuscript editor has a caret, reading now starts at the beginning of that displayed line and continues through the manuscripts that follow. With Standard voice, a subtle background shows the text currently being read, making it easier to connect the narration with your manuscript.

Turn on “Follow reading position” to move only the manuscript editor when reading enters a new manuscript or the current line leaves the visible area. The rest of the page stays still while you follow the narration.

Change playback speed without losing your place

Standard voice now accounts for known device-voice behavior so its effective speed is closer to the selected multiplier. Changing the speed during playback no longer stops the whole reading session; it continues from the current short spoken segment at the new speed.

Natural AI voice keeps the current playback position when you change speed. The settings also explain that actual speed can still vary slightly by device and voice.

Choose the app-wide text size

You can now select Small, Medium, or Large for the whole app from Environment settings in the account menu. Your choice is saved in the same browser and restored the next time you return.

Long selected work titles are also constrained so navigation and nearby actions remain easier to reach.

Focus more easily on your conversation

We removed the persistent Visual assistance explanation from the conversation composer to keep attention on writing and sending your message. Diagrams are still used when they clarify relationships or steps, and an image is generated only when you explicitly request one in the current conversation.
