Point to the passage you want to discuss
Select text in the manuscript editor to insert an @Manuscript reference tag into the conversation input. You can ask about wording or what comes next without copying the entire passage into your message.
Reference manuscripts and notes from your work
Drag an item from the manuscript outline or reference list, or choose “Reference in conversation” from its action menu, to insert an @Manuscript or @Reference tag. The AI uses the current content of that item as context for this conversation.
Reference tags remain part of the normal message. You can move the cursor through them, edit them, or delete them. If you change a tag, NovelShaft disconnects it from the original item and keeps the remaining text as part of your message.
Find writing actions more easily
Actions for searching and editing a manuscript are now grouped at the top of the manuscript editor. Manuscript and reference items also show an action menu, so the same commands are available without relying on a right-click.
