The External AI connections (MCP) guide now explains how your NovelShaft works can become part of a writing conversation in Codex.
Find example requests for planning a scene from character notes, reviewing a manuscript against reference materials, and saving decisions made in a conversation back to your work.
The guide also covers what you will need to connect, access to all your works, confirmation for important actions, external AI fees, revoking access, and undoing edits. Open it from “External AI connections (MCP)” in the footer of the English site, or the equivalent link on the Japanese site.
Public access to the MCP connection is still being prepared. This update improves the guide; it does not launch the connection. Setup instructions will appear on the same page when access is available.
