We have improved the flow of developing a story with AI, including adopting an earlier draft and revising prose to match a character's requirements.
- Earlier drafts are easier for the AI to check. It can reread relevant messages and drafts during long conversations. We also fixed a problem that made the endings of long drafts harder to retrieve.
- Draft review checks the writing against your requirements more closely. We refined checks for each character's voice and role, requested length, and who said or did something. We also improved how the AI distinguishes finished work from unfinished steps.
- Interrupted replies are handled more clearly. We improved retries when a reply can continue and the explanation when it cannot be completed.
- Web chat preserves line breaks. Dialogue and other lines no longer run together because of how the chat renders them.
- Character profile templates have more room for defining a character. New profiles include background, appearance, personality and behavior, and speech style.
This release updates the web app and the services that support AI assistance. It does not include a new mobile app release.
