A saved plot or character note could go unnoticed by AI when it did not appear in the search results for your request. AI now receives an inventory of the project's references at the start of each conversation request.
The inventory includes reference and image names, types and folder structure. It provides a starting point for locating documents and reading the text needed for your request, including references that search did not find. Added, renamed, moved or deleted references are reflected in the next request.
Knowing that a reference exists is distinct from reading its text or viewing its image contents. This update does not make document names evidence of story facts or of completed reading. Please continue to check that AI responses match your intentions and settings.
This improvement applies to all plans, including Free. Prices and granted AI allowance amounts are unchanged. Inventory information is included in AI input, so projects with many references may use more AI allowance for input.
